Parts Warranty

All parts supplied by LR Centre Ltd are covered by a 12-month warranty.  Below are the detailed terms and procedures associated with our warranty:

  • Duration: LR Centre Ltd parts come with a 12-month warranty, starting from the receipt date by the customer.

  • Scope: Warranty returns include all parts suspected to be faulty or that have failed upon fitment, as well as those suspected to have failed within the 12-month warranty period. However, failures caused by external factors, such as improper installation or poor vehicle maintenance, are not covered.

  • Coverage: The warranty covers only the item sold. Damage, labor costs, and any consequential losses are not covered. Additionally, failures due to external factors like poor vehicle maintenance, incorrect installation, or pre-existing vehicle issues are excluded from coverage. For instance, a new fuel injector may fail if the vehicle's fuel system contains contaminants or if the injector is installed improperly. Such failures would not be covered under the warranty as they are not due to a manufacturing defect.

  • Process: Parts returned under warranty are subject to a thorough inspection and testing process, which is necessary to determine the cause of the failure. These parts will be returned to the supplier/manufacturer for assessment. While the timescale for this process can vary and may take several weeks, we will always strive to minimize this wait time as much as possible.

  • Investigation Requirement: Due to the complexity of vehicle parts, suspected faults necessitate a thorough investigation. Immediate refunds or replacements are not possible for parts declared faulty without a detailed examination. This examination will determine if the failure was due to a manufacturing defect or external factors unrelated to the part's manufacturing quality. It is with the supplier that the final decision lies.

  • Warranty Return Form: Please include this form completed with your item(s) to avoid processing delays.

Replacement Policy for Warranty Parts

  • Faulty Parts: If a part is deemed faulty based on the manufacturer's assessment, LR Centre Ltd will replace it free of charge. Alternatively, customers can opt for a refund if they prefer.

  • Urgency Option: In cases where customers urgently need a replacement, they have the option to purchase a new part while awaiting the decision. If the original part is confirmed as faulty, the part would be refunded against the original payment method.

Disclaimer: The warranty covers only manufacturing defects in the parts supplied. Failures due to external factors, such as improper installation, poor vehicle maintenance, or other pre-existing issues with the vehicle’s systems (e.g., debris in the air intake system leading to turbocharger damage), are not covered under this warranty. A thorough investigation will be conducted to determine the cause of any failure before a warranty claim is processed.
